SBA and Treasury Release Paycheck Protection Program Loan Forgiveness Application

Washington—Today, the Small Business Administration (SBA), in consultation with the Department of the Treasury, released the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Forgiveness Application and detailed instructions for the application.

The form and instructions inform borrowers how to apply for forgiveness of their PPP loans, consistent with the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).  SBA will also soon issue regulations and guidance to further assist borrowers as they complete their applications, and to provide lenders with guidance on their responsibilities.

NEW! DSM Small Business Recovery Grant

The Greater Des Moines Partnership, Polk County and the City of Des Moines are teaming with Carlisle, Clive, Indianola, Johnston, Norwalk, Urbandale, West Des Moines, Warren County and Windsor Heights to create a grant program to help keep small businesses in business. We are — and plan to remain — DSM strong. Apply May 5 through midnight May 20, 2020.

 

PPP: SBA Paycheck Protection Loan

Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) for small businesses is now available. Contact your bank or an SBA lender. 

 

COVID-19 TSB Sole Operator Fund

A fund has been created to support TSBs with zero employees that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

 

SBA Disaster Loan

SBA will begin accepting new Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) and EIDL Advance applications on a limited basis only to provide relief to U.S. agricultural businesses. 

Applicants may apply online, receive additional disaster assistance information and download applications at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.

 

Iowa Economic Development Authority Resources

On Monday, March 23, Governor Reynolds announced a new Iowa Small Business Relief Program that will provide financial assistance to small businesses and tax deferrals to any Iowa businesses that have been economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
