Katie Roth, Owner
RC Search Group
Katie Roth is a successful Iowa entrepreneur. She has owned three businesses and is the current owner of RC Search Group – an executive search firm focusing on C-Suite and executive level positions. Her previous two business included Portico Staffing – a full-service employment agency and Specialty Enterprises – a small manufacturing operation. She was a partner and shareholder at Merit Resources, an outsourcing firm for Human Resources, for eight years.
While she was at Merit, she was a regional finalist in the 2001 Entrepreneur of the Year contest sponsored by Ernst & Young. In 2015, she was awarded the Woman Business Owner of the Year by the Des Moines Business Record.
Katie is currently on the Board of Directors of Homesteaders Life Company and on the Board of Medix IT. She is a member and the first woman president of the Rotary Club of West Des Moines, and a graduate and board member of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute. She has served on various non-profit boards including Salisbury House and was a mentor for the Community Connect Program for four years. She loves being the greeter at Lutheran Church of Hope on Sunday mornings and enjoys biking and bible study in her spare time.
Katie is a graduate of the University of Iowa. She is married to Mark Clark, and they live in West Des Moines. They have six grown children and five grandchildren between them.
