Why did you join NAWBO Iowa and what do you appreciate about it?

I joined NAWBO Iowa after attending several of the free coffee meet & greet events. At the time, I had my own marketing & communications consulting business and was looking to connect with other women business owners. In my role at Women Lead Change, I meet great women leaders who often share their dreams for the future with me. Many of these women are business owners and some are working for a corporation and want to start their own businesses. I always recommend that they hook up with NAWBO Iowa!

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

I appreciate the opportunity to connect with the most amazing people - most of them women - every day! Knowing that what I do for a living helps change the world by developing women leaders! I love connecting people. I especially love connecting people with NAWBO Iowa!

What are you most looking forward to in 2022?

Change! The effects of the pandemic on women in the workforce were dramatic. Women were being pushed to the brink when trying to shoulder work and family responsibilities. In 2022, Women Lead Change is more committed than ever to supporting our colleagues at work, at home and in our communities.
