Please tell us about your background.
I grew up in Council Bluffs, IA, before attending Bradley University in Peoria, IL, where I earned a degree in Mass Communication and a minor in Marketing. After college, I moved to Des Moines and spent six years at the Des Moines Register and 18 years at Strategic America. There, I worked across multiple marketing disciplines, helping expand the agency's digital services while working with hundreds of small business owners nationwide.
Please tell us about your business.
Loud Digital helps businesses get found online without the boring agency buzzwords or inflated egos. We handle SEO, Google Business Profile management, PPC, paid social, email marketing, review management, online citations, analytics, and website hosting. Basically, if it helps your business show up online and look good doing it, we're into it. Smart strategy, clear reporting and zero "circle back on that synergy" energy. Just loud visibility and marketing that actually does something.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
The online world can feel like the Wild West, with search algorithms, platforms, and best practices constantly evolving. I love helping small business owners make sense of it all so they can feel confident in their marketing decisions and focus on what they do best: running their business.
Why did you join NAWBO Iowa and what do you appreciate about it?
When I first told Rebekah Brandmeyer that I was starting my own business, she immediately told me to look into NAWBO! As a new member, I'm still discovering all of the events, resources, and opportunities the organization has to offer, and I'm excited to build relationships with what already feels like an great group of women.
What does NAWBO Iowa mean to you?
Most days, I feel like I'm figuring out this whole business ownership thing as I go. Having a community of women who have been there, done that, and are willing to share their advice and encouragement, makes it feel a lot less scary.
What are you most looking forward to in 2026 and beyond?
Loud Digital officially launched in June 2026 so I'm looking forward to bringing on new clients and growing the business over the next year! I'm also excited to join Alexson Calahan on the NAWBO Communications Committee.
