Please tell us about your background.

I was born and raised in Fort Dodge, Iowa, where I attended Fort Dodge Senior High School. I am the youngest of four children. Both of my parents were hard-working and loving. My parents have both passed away now, as well as my brother. It’s me and my two older sisters left.

My mom passed November 5, 2021, and I'm putting together the book that she had been writing for the last fifteen years. My hope is for the grandchildren and great-grandchildren to learn about our family’s legacy.

Please tell us about your business.

I am a real estate agent, currently in my fourth year with Keller Williams Realty. My business tends to focus on luxury homes, new construction and empty nesters. I am building a small team with one buyer's agent, a transaction coordinator and a marketing specialist.

I’m currently mentoring two young professionals to become successful real estate agents.

Prior to real estate, I was in financial services for nearly 20 years. I feel this prepared me well for the journey I'm on today as a business owner.

Why did you join NAWBO Iowa and what do you appreciate about it?

I joined NAWBO to get to know other women in business, to learn from each other and genuinely just hang out. 

I have watched many of the founder's YouTube videos, and I enjoy listening to what she has to offer.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

Helping people find their forever homes and seeing the big smile on their faces.

What are you most looking forward to in 2023?

Paying off debt and spending quality time with my husband, kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Also traveling more.
