Danielle White is the CEO of Myriad Advisor Solutions, a business consulting firm providing solutions for efficiency, profitability, and effectiveness.
Please tell us about your background.
I grew up in the picture-postcard landscapes of Woodinville, Washington, before my family's move to Bettendorf, Iowa, during my elementary school years. Inspired by my mother's entrepreneurial ventures, I pursued a degree in marketing and advertising at Drake University.
Following graduation, I took a transformative hiatus to teach in China for a year. This time broadened my perspectives. Upon my return, fueled by a shared passion for innovation, my mom and I co-founded a business that I now lead. This unique blend of experiences has shaped my approach to business, emphasizing adaptability and a global perspective in navigating the entrepreneurial landscape.
Please tell us about your business.
My mom, Leigh White, and I founded Myriad Advisor Solutions, Inc. in 2009. Since then it has grown into a leading business consulting firm with a vision to be the premier solution for entrepreneurial and business operations nationwide. Our mission is clear — we empower businesses across the nation to achieve their goals by alleviating operational demands through tailored business solutions, operational guidance, and technical support. Our tagline, "Do what you do BEST! Let us do the REST!" encapsulates our commitment to providing businesses with the freedom to focus on their core competencies while we handle the intricacies of operations.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
What I find most rewarding in my role is the ability to drive effective outcomes for the businesses I'm involved in. The dynamic nature of the business landscape and the constant learning opportunities keep me engaged and excited about each day. Additionally, fostering a collaborative work environment and contributing to the growth and development of my team is a source of great satisfaction.
Why did you join NAWBO Iowa and what do you appreciate about it?
I became a member of NAWBO Iowa after attending the Celebration of Excellence Luncheon, where I was deeply inspired by the remarkable women in that room. My passion for small businesses and entrepreneurship, particularly when spearheaded by women, led me to seek affiliation with this empowering community. While I haven't had the opportunity to attend other events yet, I am enthusiastic about becoming more involved and contributing to the vibrant network that NAWBO Iowa offers. The supportive environment and shared commitment to the success of women-led businesses are aspects I genuinely appreciate about being a part of NAWBO Iowa.
What does NAWBO mean to you?
NAWBO, the National Association of Women Business Owners, holds significant meaning for me as it represents a dynamic and empowering community of women entrepreneurs. It serves as a platform where like-minded individuals come together to share experiences, and insights, and support each other's professional journeys. Being a part of NAWBO means gaining access to a wealth of knowledge, resources, and a network of inspiring women leaders. It fosters collaboration, celebrates achievements, and contributes to the collective strength of women-owned businesses, creating an environment where success is not only encouraged but also celebrated.
What are you most looking forward to in 2024?
Professionally, I look forward to fostering deeper connections within our industry and embracing emerging trends that will contribute to the continued growth and success of our endeavors. I am eagerly anticipating the dual excitement of expanding our business's reach and impact, exploring new market opportunities, and implementing innovative strategies.
On a personal note, I am thrilled to announce that I will also be getting married, adding an extra layer of joy and anticipation to what promises to be a transformative and fulfilling year ahead.
