Robyn Sullivan is a financial adviser for Northwestern Mutual, a national financial services company with offices in West Des Moines.

Please tell us about your background.

I grew up in the small town of Manning, Iowa with my older brother, Josh, and our parents. I went to Manning Community School and participated in various sports. I continued my education at AIB College of Business in Des Moines, and later then went to PCI Academy for cosmetology. 

Please tell us about your business.

My passion as a financial adviser comes from helping families create clarity in their financial lives with intentional strategy. Also, I’ve found working with business owners to execute strategies that create financial efficiency has been a niche that I enjoy tending to.

Why did you join NAWBO Iowa and what do you appreciate about it?

I joined NAWBO because, as a business owner myself who at one time felt somewhat neglected, I feel it is my duty to pay it forward and make sure other business owners are getting the service and support they need to be successful. 

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

I enjoy painting a picture of success for my clients. Showing them that they can achieve whatever goals they have for themselves, their business, and their family if given the proper attention and direction brings me joy.

What are you most looking forward to this year?

I look forward to getting to know more people, helping connect people, and making an impact.
