Portrait of Alyx Coble-FrakesPlease tell us about your background.
I grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and graduated from Prairie High School. I went on to study Business Administration at Wartburg College, where I developed a passion for entrepreneurship and women's leadership. My career has taken me from health coaching to founding The Agenda., a femtech company that helps women align their lives with their menstrual cycle for better health and productivity. I'm deeply committed to changing the way we talk about hormones, work, and wellness.

Please tell us about your business.
I'm the founder and CEO of The Agenda., a wellness tech company helping women align with their hormonal cycles. Our app offers personalized insights, education, and tools to improve productivity, relationships, and well-being. We support all phases of the cycle, including perimenopause, with a mission to make cycle awareness a foundation for health and success.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?
What I enjoy most is seeing women feel validated, empowered, and in control of their health and lives. Helping people understand their bodies and reclaim their energy through cycle awareness is incredibly rewarding. It's about more than hormones—it's about unlocking their full potential.

Why did you join NAWBO Iowa and what do you appreciate about it?
I joined NAWBO Iowa to connect with other women who understand the unique challenges and opportunities of building a business. As a founder, having a supportive network of ambitious, values-driven women is invaluable. I appreciate the sense of community, the access to mentorship, and the inspiration that comes from hearing other members' stories. It's empowering to be part of a group that champions women's leadership and creates space for growth at every stage of entrepreneurship.

What are you most looking forward to in 2025 and beyond?
I'm most looking forward to expanding the reach of The Agenda. and deepening our impact in the perimenopause space. We're launching new features, growing our partnerships, and continuing to push the conversation around hormonal health forward. It's an exciting time to be building something that truly supports women at every stage.

What does NAWBO mean to you?
To me, NAWBO means community, courage, and collective power. It's a space where women support women—not just in business, but in leadership, impact, and legacy. Being part of NAWBO reminds me that I'm not building alone.
