NAWBO IOWA MEMBER Q&A: Jillian Harrington

We’re thrilled to feature one of our newest members, Jillian Harrington, Owner of Après Bar Co.!

I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, and attended Roosevelt High School before moving to Vail, Colorado, in my adult years. After gaining valuable experience in hospitality and event management, I returned to my hometown and started Après Bar Co. in 2021. Since then, I've worked hard to grow my business, offering unique and memorable bar services for a variety of events. My journey reflects my passion for creativity, entrepreneurship, and making every celebration special.

Après Bar Co. is a full-service mobile bar company creating unforgettable beverage experiences for all types of events. We offer custom portable bars, event staffing, and unique rentals like neon signs and specialty shelves. A standout feature is Pedro, our beverage burro, who adds charm and fun to weddings, corporate events, and more. With exceptional service and creative presentation, we make every celebration unique and memorable.

I enjoy the opportunity to create memorable experiences for people during some of their most special moments. Whether it's a wedding, a corporate event, or a celebration, I love seeing the joy and connection that great service and creative touches can bring. It's incredibly rewarding to be part of those moments and know that my work helps make them unforgettable.

Next year, I'm most looking forward to continuing to grow Après Bar Co. and bring fresh, creative ideas to our events. I'm especially excited to expand our reach, take on new challenges, and collaborate with amazing clients and partners. It's always inspiring to think about the possibilities a new year holds for innovation and connection.

As a new NAWBO Iowa member, I'm excited to connect with like-minded women entrepreneurs and learn from their experiences. It's inspiring to be part of an organization that empowers and supports women business owners, and I'm eager to contribute to this amazing community.
